Description

Class O Perimeter Aluminium Foil Tape (40mm x 45m roll). A Robust self adhesive Foil Tape used to seal cut edges of Perimeter or Cut Panels to preserve the Class ‘O’ Spread of Flame requirement for Raised Access Floors. Aluminium foil tape is produced with an aggressive acrylic adhesive that provides a wide range of application temperatures and are Class ‘O’ fire rated for use in insulation, raised flooring, air conditioning and ducting applications.

A Class O performance is specified where it is necessary to maintain the flame resistance to cut the panel edges and to prevent moisture ingress:

a) gives a Class 1 result when tested in accordance with BS476: Part 7: 1971 or BS476: Part 7: 1987 and amendment slip AMD 6249

b) has a fire propagation index (I) of not greater than 12 and a sub-index (i1) of not greater than 6 when tested in accordance with BS476: Part 6: 1981 or BS476: Part 6: 1989
